• RD16 -OP Texas on the way to Khe San --the Marine base at OP Texas we took over in the dark from them and then moved on closer to Khe San relieving the Marines when they abandoned Khe San (some guys might remember the filing into the positions after dark not knowing if the NVA had slipped in after the Marines left in the afternoon and our arrival late the night).
